Duergar Pure 20 Dragonlord TWF DPS
20
Hey all, I'm back again with a new build, this time a TWF dragonlord. Let's get right into it. The choice of Duergar seems odd, especially considering that means no Eladrin or Aasimar. However, this build takes advantage of a unique part of the Duergar tree. Dragonlord gets +2 critical multiplier, but no range. Duergar gives crit range with warhammers, dwarven waraxes, and heavy picks. Because of this, playing a Duergar Dragonlord allows you to get +2 multi and +1 range with warhammers, this build's weapon of choice. That's the basis of the race choice; let's talk about the rest. The reason for TWF is because of the sunder abilities. IYKYK. The reason for warhammers is not only because of Duergar, but also because of the plethora of powerful leveling and endgame warhammers. Nightforge hammer and the CITW warhammer are goats for leveling, and at endgame, Audion and Pestle are arguably the most powerful weapons in the game, period. Duergar also has some other advantages. First off, the race gives the most to hit/damage out of any race in the game: 10. That is an insane amount of damage for the race to give. Duergar also look good, which is a bonus. Duergar is also a str/con race, which are the only stats we care about. Overall, Duergar is a no-brainer pick for this build. It gives everything you could possibly want, and more. I don't think I need to explain the enhancements. It's just standard pure Dragonlord. Of special note, the Dragonlord capstone is actually a sunder, meaning this build gets 4. It is also AoE, so you get a giant AoE nuke. Epic Destinies are interesting, as the usual choice would be for t5/mantle LD. I decided to go t5/mantle DC because that gets the law damage, more double strike, more defense (hamp, fortification, etc), as well as the very powerful sunder evil ability. With sunder evil, everytime you use improved sunder (which you get in this tree, that saves a feat!), you debuff mobs AC by 20% Not flat 20, 20%. That's a huge boost to you and your party. I also decided to go for Quick Cutter for more AoE. While the Fatesinger strike is more single-target DPS, the rest of the Fury tree is better. As for playstyle, use the sunders in succession to animation-cancel and do big damage. Like all dragonlords, use the roar to CC mobs first before quick cutter/cleaves. Cruel cut is interesting because on low difficulties, if the mobs don't resist the con damage due to an epic ward, they will lose 100+ con and be helpless. Treat this as a bonus rather than a strategy. Cruel cut/slaughter are mainly for the melee power boosting, rather than their damage (though slaughter does lots of damage if you crit). This build is light on gear swaps/boosts. You want ideally: yugo pot (str) rem pot (str) titan's strength madstone boots prowess swap spell absorb skills swaps Good luck with the gear, as usual Notable stats in reaper: Strength: 110 (no madstone/titans strength) Melee power: ~380 before prowess (missing lots of mythic/reaper/curse) Doublestrike: 97% Offhand Hit Chance: 100% To-hit: 230 To-damage: 155 Fort Bypass: 146% HP: 5.1k PRR: ~300 MRR: 130 Character Sheet: https://i.imgur.com/opKJ2oP.png Notable Achievements so far: Solo LN Threats 29 minutes: https://youtu.be/nBPSKJCZquA Solo LN FoM 6 minutes 37 seconds: https://youtu.be/jYk41gD_KwQ Solo LH Legendary Chronoscope 26 minutes: https://youtu.be/E9_RgZt-io8 Video for this build will come out soon... ...and here it is! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Sqw1g0JYCM Questions? Hello, fellow ddo and princess bride enthusiasts. This is my "Vizzini" build it is heavy on flavour but not so heavy on power. 3 rules for these builds. 1) They will be new player and first life friendly. 2) They will not be heavily gear centric. 3) They will focus on my adaptation of these avatars from the movie, books, and other "pop culture" references. "Vizzini" is a smart wise leader type so its no surprise that we start with gnome Iconic for this build. I will be using Rogue primarily for this build to show the characters depth. These builds will use no armor or light Armour to mirror a world where armor is expensive and overly bulky. He (vizzini) is a very skilled, smart and wise leader of men so, of primary importance are INT n WIS with a tertiary focus on CHR and I feel as though Rogue highlights this well. Enjoy... Happy Gaming... PS it would be "totally completely and in all other ways Inconcievable" for you to not enjoy this.

Hello, fellow ddo and princess bride enthusiasts. "Inigo" is a swashbuckling type so it may surprise you that we will not be going bard for this build. I will be using Rogue and Ranger to show the characters depth. In my opinion the swash types in ddo dont hold up to scrutiny. at least not for this series. These builds will use no armor or light Armour to mirror a world where armor is expensive and overly bulky. He (Inigo) is a very skilled swordsman and I feel as if Ranger highlights this better. He is also very skilled in tumbling jumping and acrobatics. And I feel as these are better represented in Rogue and esp in Thief Acro. Enjoy... Happy Gaming...

Low life high reaper play using Daxe + Shield Dwarf/Deurgar/Deurgar Iconic Ravager

This is the Deurgar Iconic DL ravager version of the build, I will post the Dwarf Barb Ravager and Deurgar Barb Ravager and link those later. I basically used this build for all my Dwarf/Deurgar lives. This build does not require a lot of lives and can easily solo quests on R8 for older content, R6 for newer content and do R10 all quest content in party even if shortmaning. It can push to solo complete R10 old content and R8 new content but not recommended as it may result in 1-2 deaths. Do note that I am well geared. Video for Enemy of My Enemy R8 solo Video for Flocked together R8 solo (1 death) Video for A Want for A Heart R10 party play The build levels as a two hander so it's very easy to level (uses eSoS and heroic falchion for leveling) and it's tanky enough with self heals to off tank non-push raids. You can also swap to a falchion for more DPS in raids if there is a dedicated tank there. It also has 5 regeneratable Lay on Hands charges for minor party healing support. There is heavy reliance on CCing from the weapon and shield (see Unique Requirements note section). Stats with self + ship buffs only standing idle in reaper using Reduce size and no action boosts: Visage DC: 131 (+10 with coffee to hit 141), Dragon's roar: 126, Doublestrike: 97%, 358 MP, 122% fort bypass, 31% dodge, 343 PRR, 164 MRR, 313 AC, 4.9k HP, 62% elemental absorb, 69% neg absorb, 45% force absorb, 39% sonic absorb, 50% concealment, 377% fortification 36 pt stat allocation is actually 18 str / 8 dex / 18 con / 10 int / 8 wis / 14 cha but the site is not letting me put that.

The Full Meta Alchemist

Top-tier melee DPS with full BAB, 400 PRR, 140 MRR, 36% standing dodge, infinite boosts, 100% doublestrike and massive sustained damage — that's what the Full Meta Alchemist is all about. No trade-offs, no compromises. It shreds like a cannon and survives like a raid tank, with dodge spiking to 95% on demand and a huge HP pool behind it. Solo capability? R10. The engine: infinite action boosts with zero cooldown between them, plus the highest damage melee imbue in the game (1d8 vs everyone's 1d6). You're always boosted, always hitting harder than you should be. How to play: idle in Orange, open with a boost (Blue) into Poisoned Strike (Red) — a massive AoE that strips poison immunity on its own, so even "immune" mobs melt. That combo puts you in Purple state and you enter a spike, where PRR skyrockets and you shred without fear. Fight over? Smoke Bomb (Yellow) into GEW (Red), back to Orange, engine reloaded. With the Dragonlord CC, evasion and a rogue splash for traps, you've got an active, fast, rewarding build that never gets boring. Axlett's Solo-Leveling Ravager Barbarian
20
Do you want to feel like an unstoppable juggernaut at all points in the game? Do you like playing solo? Are your favorite buttons Left-Click and W? Then do I have a build for you... As an avid solo player, I've run every class and every play style solo in my decade+ of playing. In my experience, Ravager Barbarian is an S Tier leveler throughout almost the entire game for melees. It has damage, it has durability, it has sustain, and it doesn't need past lives or tomes to do it's job. As such, this build doesn't utilize any tomes or past lives and assumes a 28-point build. Players with access to 32-point builds can choose to put their extra 4 points into Wisdom for a slight boost to Will saves. I chose Human for this build for the extra feat and skill ranks, but you can play any race you like, even Halflings! If you choose not to play Human, simply take Power Attack at level 3, and take Cleave and Great Cleave at levels 15 and 18 respectively. As we level, Falchion is the best in slot weapon type due to it's innate critical threat range. However, you're a Barbarian, if you want to use a Greataxe, who am I to stop you? We'll also want to pick up any Strength and Constitution items, as well as Medium Armors and Sheltering items. Our main low point, in my experience, is right at level 20. Monsters tend to have much higher AC and damage and the difficulty jump between Epic Hard and Epic Elite is huge. If you have access to Saltmarsh, I'm a huge advocate of getting an Epic Saltmarsh set- you can farm it on Heroic Elite at level 20 and you can wear it all the way to level 30. The difficulty should smooth out as you hit levels 21-23, and by 24 you should be feeling like a juggernaut again.

Axlett's Solo-Leveling Dragon Disciple
20
Dragon Disciple is a very strong class for solo play. With access to strong defensive spells (such as Shield, Displacement, and Deathward), high saves, resourceless healing, great single target damage, and decent AoE damage, DD is solid for leveling through almost all points of the game. This build assumes a first life, 28-point build, but works just as well with tomes, 32-points, and/or past lives. If running a 32-point build, I would put either 4 points into Strength for carrying capacity, or 2 points into strength and 2 extra points into Intelligence for UMD skill ranks. If you have 28-points but have access to a +2 Dex tome, you can drop Dex to 15, put 2 points into Strength, and put your level 4 stat increase into Wis instead of Dex. If you have 32-point build AND a +2 Dex tome, drop Dex to 15 and start with 20 Wis. We're also using handwraps for this build. In my opinion, handwraps/TWF works a bit better for lower point-buy builds since you only need to focus on Wisdom, Dexterity, and Constitution. Quarterstaff builds would also need to factor in Strength stat requirements which, while not impossible, is a bit harder to hit. Quarterstaff does have more AoE than handwraps, but that's not a major concern with how much AoE we get from the breath attack SLAs. Plus handwrap animations look super rad.

Sneak Attack Enlightened Spirit Farmer

This was a thought experiment on how much damage I could squeeze into the Eldritch Aura, using as much Pact dice, Blast dice, Imbue dice, Sneak Attack dice as I could fit, with secondary damage effects such as Revel in Blood, Sound & Silence, and Alchemical Earth Attunement to top it off. While Melee is a part of this build it's mostly to proc Strength of Arms for survivability & to apply debuffs from your weapon. Outside of raids this build is designed to be survivable for solo item farming, with testing done against Solo difficulty J'anara the Marilith in The Darklake (with help from Mycella, Rana, & Drossheart). For raiders this build has several ways of reducing MMR & AC and instead plays a more supportive/debuffing role (look at Enhancements and Epic Destinies for more details). There are 2 versions of gear which are similar, but one requires less rare farming than the other. Not all augments are filled, so there's potentially room for more power to be found. I don't have all the gear for either set myself, and I play this game quite casually, so I'm not sure which set is actually better or if there are better gear combos in general. Hope you have fun with this, and play on!
Axlett's Endgame Dragon Disciple Cold Melee/Caster Hybrid
20
Many years ago, I set out to make a character that cast spells and fight in melee and excel at both. 75 lives later and I settled on this build... This build hits 34 Bonus Imbue dice, 850~ Cold Spellpower (~900 with arcane warrior stacked, ~1150 with meta's turned on, and another +100 after U81 gear updates), 115 Breath/Burst of Glacial Wrath DCs (roughly 10 more with U81 gear). For Defense, we're at roughly 3k HP with 43 dodge cap, ~300 AC, 95+ on all saves with no fails on 1, 220 PRR, 115 MRR- basically enough to not instantly die all the time. Utility-wise, Hand of Healing is a no maximum cast range AoE heal, Burst of Glacial Wrath plus double Draconic Devastation for some CC, Cold Immunity Strip, Vulnerability Stacking plus Jade Strike damage amp, and (everyone's favorite) Time Stop. This build has AoE for days with dragon breaths, Energy Vortex, and Magus Mantle, but still has great single target damage with unarmed TWF (roughly 2k damage per-hit from just the imbue damage). Is this the strongest build in the game? No. Is it the best? Debatable. Is it really cool and thematic? You bet your sweet bippy.
Speed Sorc 1-20

This is pulled from Noobicabra, but I love using it for our static group's 1-20 racial completionist runs. I don't recall if I modified it, but I do tend to make changes when leveling since I'm in a group and don't use all the original bells and whistles. There's more depth and swapping, but this will at least be a generic guideline that folks can follow. The highlights: swap to electric at 12 and back to fire at 20 if you're going to 30.

Duergar: Dark Apostatex20

My Son, Brother from another mother and I are all playing a different Duegar ""undeadish"" class and this one is mine - the Dark Apostate, the other two in the party are a Pale Master Eldritch Knight and "undeadish" Warlock, all three toons are created by my Son Ashkand of Shadowdale AKA by the guild as Ashapedia. TOMES not required, but do help to make a difference. PAST LIVES are not a requirement. This is the quickest leveling run we have had since the three of us started running together this year. We normally do all runs at R1 for heroics, by level 12 we changed it to R2 because we are just flying through the quests.

Older gear cause the builds a bit dated. Easier to get Para arrow DC up now cause enchantment gear focus is way higher due to recent spell DC changes.
